Prepaid tokens and payment

How Bolt's prepaid token balance works, how payments verify, and where Rampart plans fit in.

Bolt investigations draw from a prepaid token balance so teams control spend before running analysis. Rampart organizations combine monthly plans with the same metered balance: scans bill tokens against a monthly quota. Plans are managed in organization settings.

Token basics

  • Buy tokens, not plans. No monthly plans or seat fees for Bolt. Buy a prepaid top-up and spend it across investigations.
  • Pay in Ugandan shillings. Checkout charges UGX directly at a fixed rate. The amount you see is the amount Nylon Pay presents.
  • Watch one balance. Bolt usage draws from a single balance. Top-ups and history are tracked in one place.
  • Tokens never expire. Purchased tokens remain available until they are used.

Payment lifecycle

  1. Choose a token top-up

Pick a package on the pricing page while signed in.

  2. Complete Nylon Pay checkout

Pay on Nylon Pay's hosted page. Card details never touch BeeraSafe servers.

  3. Receive verified confirmation

A signed Nylon Pay event reconciles the payment before anything is credited.

  4. Tokens appear in your workspace

The exact purchased amount lands on your balance, logged with the payment reference.

Keep payment records reviewable
Do not treat a browser redirect alone as proof of payment. The application reconciles payment references through the verified Nylon Pay event before crediting tokens.

Rampart plans

New Rampart organizations start on the free plan. Owners and admins switch plans in organization settings: custom merge-gate policies unlock on business and above, SSO on enterprise. Every plan includes a monthly scan quota — 50 on free, 500 on team, 2,000 on business, unlimited on enterprise — and each scan spends prepaid tokens from the paying member's balance, the greater of 20 tokens or files scanned plus findings.
